Gina D. Boer has 17 years experience as a civil litigation attorney. Her practice areas include personal injury, construction and real estate, including landlord-tenant and boundary disputes. Before joining Stein, Rudser, Cohen and Magid in 2002, Ms. Boer was a partner and then of counsel with Buresh, Kaplan, Jang and Feller in Berkeley where she handled hundreds of cases through arbitration, mediation, trial and appeal. Previously, Ms. Boer was an associate in the corporate transactions department at Epstein, Becker, Stromberg and Green in San Francisco. Ms. Boer has taught classes in Remedies at John F. Kennedy School of Law and has been a volunteer Judge for the Contra Costa County High Schools Moot Court Program as well as the Appellate Advocacy Program at Boalt Hall School of Law. Ms. Boer also serves as a mediator and arbitrator for the Contra Costa County Superior Court and is available for private mediation services. Ms. Boer was admitted to the California Bar in 1986. She received her B.A. degree with honors from the University of California at Berkeley in 1982. In 1986, she received her J.D. with honors from the George Washington University School of Law in Washington D.C. While at GWU, Ms. Boer was an Associate Editor of the George Washington Journal of International Law and Economics and the Articles Editor for the Consumer Protection Reporter. Ms. Boer is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alameda and
Contra Costa County Bar Associations, and the Berkeley-Albany Bar Association.
She is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California.
