Paul D. Epstein

Paul D. Epstein’s practice emphasizes real estate transactions, real estate litigation and bankruptcy. Prior to joining Stein, Rudser, Cohen & Magid in 2003, Mr. Epstein was an associate with SuttleLaw, P.C. in San Francisco, where his practice included estate planning, taxation and business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. Later, Mr. Epstein was an associate with Hughes & Gill, P.C. in Walnut Creek, where his practice primarily involved the representation of common interest developments.

Mr. Epstein is a 1999 graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he published First-to-File, Last-in-Line: Ninth Circuit Creditors Dragged into Bankruptcy Lose the State Law Race of the Diligent as a Law Review staff member. 33 USF L Rev. 285. During law school, Mr. Epstein served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Leslie Tchaikovsky of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California. He received his B.A. and M.A. degrees in English from San Francisco State University.

Mr. Epstein is a member of the State Bar of California and the Alameda County Bar Association. He is also a real estate broker licensed by the California Department of Real Estate.
